How does it work?

So how does it really work? When you inject the platelet-enriched-plasma into the scalp you are stimulating the hair follicles to encourage new hair growth. Our team will start by collecting a small blood draw and use it to spin the platelets to create the plasma for your injections. There is minimal discomfort during the procedure, some patients experience a slight burning sensation but will quickly resolve. Plasma enriched with platelets is a safe way to rejuvenate the hair follicles because it comes from your own blood and allergic or immune reaction risks are minimal.

How many treatments do I need?

Our team will work with you individually to understand where you are on the journey, your budget and what you are looking for with this procedure. Depending on the amount of hair loss and desired results you may need anywhere from 3-7 Progen treatments. Each treatment will be 4-6 weeks apart and maintenance should be completed every 4-6 months. You should speak with your provider for a schedule that will best fit your results.

Results & After Care

New hair growth results can be seen in just a short few weeks and can last up to a year or more. We recommend pairing treatment with Votesse supplements to extend the results of the procedure.

Unlike other hair restoration methods, this procedure is non-surgical. There is no recovery time needed but there could be bruising, swelling and some pain at the injection site. To fully maximize your results you will need to avoid vigorous heat exposure and exercise for at least two days after treatment.
